Description
If Lhardy's walls could speak they would probably tell the story of Madrid better than many historians. Open since 1839 in the Carrera de San Jerónimo its rooms have passed from politicians, writers or court workers to practically any Madrilenian in search of a traditional atmosphere. Lhardy is famous for its homemade tuna or veal pies, the stew and, above all, its consommé which takes the cold out and cheers up your mouth (and the heart if you add some Jerez).
